Mouawad MUTh Crown is way better.

Sorry, but the MUP Crown looks like a toy crown because of its poor execution.

They should've made removed the blue and red gems, reduced the height of the crown, and just placed the pearls at the center and at the points.

Why there should be a debate about it? Kaya nagkakaroon ng hindi pagkakaintindihan gawa ng mga ganitong thread. Ito talagang TS na to lagi pasimuno ng mga walang kwentang thread na ganito. Payo ko kaya sayo TS instead na gumawa ng mga ganitong thread eh magbasa ka na lang ng book about basic grammar kase dyan ka parati semplang. You can’t really compare national crowns of different countries because each has its own meaning and symbolism but I’m glad you mentioned aesthetics.

Based solely on looks alone and the design ( totally disregarding the value and symbolism ) ... the Villarica crown has the edge . It’s imposing although on the baduy side kasi nasobrahan medyo sa lake . Ha ha . But I love love love the color of the pearls ( again totally disregarding whether it’s real or fake ) ... I don’t know but I find it regal and exquisite ( although we all know it’s highlighting Philippines as the Pearl of the Orient, I’m totally disregarding it’s symbolism ) .
I would rather have the sapphire and ruby on the sides and not on the center . Maybe a diamond studded sun would have been better option na nasa gitna.

I have seen pictures of the Mouwad crown worn by the MUT 2020 winner .... it really looks like an ordinary crown . It’s not that striking on pictures . Maybe it’s just the lighting , angle or distance ...but it doesn’t pop .

We have yet to see how the Villarica would look with MUP 2020 wearing it .. so yeah , let’s wait and see .
