Amanda, Punika and Vena deserved the top 3 spots Praew and Cindy just messed up their chances.
Another thing in the top 3 Q&A Punika was wayyy worse than the other two but don't get me wrong Amanda did not really answer the question while Vena's answer was generic and she did mention the King which you know is a VERY controversial topics in Thailand causing big protests.
I still think Amanda earned that crown her overall performance was better than Vena and Punika and I don't get the hate on her just because you understand only her answer does not mean she is the worst.
Also stop comparing her to Emmy the only thing Emmy has is her oratory
How Punika's answer was the worst? Can you elaborate? Performance wise, Punika led in both swimsuit and evening gown.

she does not look thai at all, she is like miss form the south asian nation( india, nepal, pakistan)...
btw amanda is really cute and i will support her 100 percent
this is the 2nd time i will be rooting for a thai girl in miss u (last one is chalita),

next year Thailand will crown another half-white because they can speak English well! but i like this girl to represent us!she is a Thai BritishJonathan Nguyen wrote:I’m so sick of Thailand for crowning so many half-white contestants in recent years. The question was very tricky. They use Wat Arun to confuse the girls. The question is Wat Aron is the Icon/Signature of Thailand, if you get to be the next MUT how would you show the iconic side of you as a Thai representative?
Punika's answer was she would give the MUO and other participants the Thai coins as the icon of Thailand because it has all the Thai signatures in it. and she said it shows in her behavior as she is truly and fully Thai blood
I think she misunderstood the Wat Arun part since it was not the question itself.

I would love for more Aniporn and Chalita-type girls.
Right now, I don't really see Amanda winning Miss Universe, but this is still so early. She will really need to work on those communication skills. Obviously, I don't speak Thai, but judging by what has been said, she may very well have had the best answer, but that definitely doesn't mean she had a good answer. In this age, if you can't speak then you can't win. She has the looks and all the moves but she will need to be trained on how to speak like a winner, because right now I would not be shocked if she doesn't make it out of the opening statement round honestly.
I feel gutted for Punika who has to end her pageantry career like this, but Thailand has so many capable women who can easily win them a Miss Universe crown in the next few years. I still don't know if it'll be Amanda, but it's definitely coming soon. Emmy also gave a good first effort but she really needs to give herself time to grow and mature and then come back.

Honestly speaking if this dumb girl places and India claps again then I'm very certain that Miss Universe is all about politics and favouritism..
To be fair she is pretty though although a bit common and even if I wanted Veena to win but I don't see an issue with her placing at Miss Universe as long as she performs as well as Fahsai and Maria, but she must do better at q&a than them if she wants to win.
It is not fair calling her dumb just because Veena didn't win. Worse than that you said that because you are just being nationalism bastard. I think you should know that Veena would never won the crown anyway, because she is not Miss Universe type and doesn't have Miss Universe factors, and I think the judges saw that. I like Veena a lot. She is a sweet and very nice person but had to admit it is not gonna be her.
You better STFU your foul mouth..do you think this girl will bring crown to your country? Just compare her with Zozibini's q and a round last year and you will get your answer lolll...actually I'm happy because India has more chance of placing now if MUO is fair enough...

Can we also please ask MUO that for once, USA be represented by a native American (you know what I mean).

Since you mentioned it, I would love for a Native American to represent the US, but where the problem arises is that 1) It's rare to find Native Americans who have absolutely no mixed race blood in them, 2) Native Americans are only 1.6% of the country, 3) They are one of the most impoverished groups in the country, and properly training for a pageant is expensive, and 4) They'd have to win a state title first.
Not to mention, this also isn't at all the same thing as what I was talking about.

I know and I understand it very well what you mean. Your opinion or idea on this matter is VERY MUCH ANTI-INCLUSIVITY (diversity and inclusion). Your opinion promotes divisiveness and exclusivity by limiting and defining what a candidate from a certain country should be.
Ever come across the word MICROCOSM? Each country, (or many countries, to be more precise) or even each square mile of land on earth has become a microcosm of the world. In this modern day and age, people from different countries and races have become more tolerant, understanding and welcoming to each other. Only some narrow-minded people can’t understand that.
Now, regarding the case of the US. For sure in the distant past, the country has gone through this phase (i.e. migration/immigration, settling in the land of Uncle Sam or intermarry other races); and it has formed what its populace is today (though sadly, as you said, the native Americans have remained poor; and not only that, those early European settlers did not only commit genocide to make sure their race won’t flourish. And that is the result of these narrow-minded people’s tyranny.
If each country’s citizen has remained exclusive-minded as the previous centuries, the world would be as chaotic as it was in those ages and would not reach the order that we presently have.
So, not because the US had undergone through this phase many centuries ago, someone already has the right to demand to a certain country (in this case, Thailand) what would their representative be. This is tantamount to telling a US immigrant, that he/she has no right to represent the US in any affair/event just because she is merely an immigrant.
Besides, These women have one parent to be native of the country they are competing in. And that itself gives them the right. And they choose to compete in Thailand, not the country of their other parent.
I would have understood your frustration if the girl hops from her mother’s country’s pageant to her father’s country’s pageant until she wins; but it’s not the case! And for many years, Thailand has sent pure-blooded Thais in the past. It’s not like they have been doing this since time immemorial.
And lastly, aren’t pageants nowadays advocates DIVERSITY & INCLUSION??
If you were one of those who supported Angela Ponce; then, you are obviously contradicting yourself.

Please reread what I said. "it's fine every once in awhile, but three of the past four titleholders have been half-white now;" what is going on is the opposite of diversity and inclusion. Crowning only girls with white ancestry is not promoting diversity, it is promoting white supremacy. The same issue was had in the US when for 40 years only white women could win the title. Goodbye.
