Gazini Ganados: ASEAN Youth Leadership and ASEAN Youth Icon Awardee

Congratulations are in order for Gazini Christiana Jordi Ganados, Miss Universe Philippines 2019 for being the recipient of the ASEAN Youth Leadership Award 2019 and ASEAN Youth Icon Award 2019, awarded by the Global Youth Parliament and the United Nations in celebration of her contribution in the sector of youth, peace, UN SDGs, social movement, empowerment, elderly care and democracy.
The honor was handed to her by Dr. Daniel Dasig Jr., Philippines Country Coordinator, Global Youth Parliament, during Gazini’s brunch with the elderly at Luwalhati ng Maynila.
There would have been a November 30 formal awarding to coincide with the ASEAN Global Youth Summit at the Manila Grand Opera Hotel. But our Queen will already fly to the US to begin her Miss Universe 2019 journey middle of next month – November 15 to be exact.
