LADIES AND GENTLEMEN. MAY I PRESENT TO YOU THE NEXT MISS UNIVERSE. THE JEWEL OF ASIA: MISS THAILAND

There will be 74 countries and territories to compete in the 69th edition of Miss Universe; inevitably because of the Covid-19 pandemic there have been contestants as former runners-up from national pageants or even randomly being appointed to represent their country.
Furthermore, a fearless prediction has been revealed just recently. On March 16, the longest reigning Miss Universe from Africa will pass the “Miss Universe coveted Crown” and place it on the head of an Asian! Yes, the 69th Miss Universe is from Asia -she is indeed pure Asian descent. WHO IS SHE… is a mind-boggling especially to the Asian pageant fanatics. Hint…she has been appointed! Same fate with the Australian delegate in 2004 who was chosen by a modeling agency to represent the country and became the 53rd Miss Universe. There are seven “DARKHORSES” that will surprise everyone during preliminary: 3 from Europe, 2 from Africa, and 2 from Asia, eventually 3 of them will land to the top 5.
Moreover, the “HALFIES (mixed-race ancestry)” contestants from Asia will be outcasted in this edition, even though they are well trained as someone to beat, they have become overrated, and the over hyping has caused the damage. The braggadocio and smugness of the “sash factor” countries spearheaded by their teams are ulterior motives rather than building the confidence of their delegates. Consequently, the intense “fan war” among avid supporters of the so-called strong contenders in the region will continue and in worst case scenario it might cause to escalate the existing conflict in South China Sea, thereby, as a flashpoint in socio-economic relations among countries in Asia and sad to note, it may end up to WWIII.
