Tribute was going to be there regardless of her placement.
While a fantastic spokesperson, some of her candids are contradict and represent her as a gorgeous woman, Angela won Miss Universe Spain for publicity I suspect. Her runner up was said to be a hot favourite. Hope she went to compete next year.
Angela wasn't very passable and I think if she styled herself more naturally and used subtle touches, it would have been a lot better.
I remember a beautiful Filipina giving Tedx talks. Thailand too has many gorgeous stunners. UK can send someone like Tula. Why not someone like Andreja Pejic in the competition? These contestants can change the game for transgenders in pageants.
When you send an uncompetitive representation to Miss Universe like Angela, she can't do much and prove the capability of transgender women. Besides, the much discussed hot debate. I don't think transgender women should be banned from Miss Universe because they identify as women and want acceptance and recognition as women. In spite of suffering so many challenges like passability, etc. some transgenders are still so breathtakingly beautiful and fans and beauty queens should be open to this.
