Today, I officially launch my #BeautyWithAPurpose Project, #ProjectPragati! This aims to give women financial independence through employment in artifacts and handicrafts industry! I’m hopeful that through this project, I will be able to empower these women and make sure they rise above the societal definition of ‘Women’.
She is one of the best candidates send to Miss World in recent years. She is classy chic and contemporary. Her elegant grace is enough for her to penetrate the semis. Her speaking skills are ok. The biggest disadvantage to me is our recent victory. I havent seen a country winning the crown multiple times since 2000 except China (you know why)
I hope they will crown/appoint an equally worthy candidate for Miss Universe, which I think the ND seemingly taking very lightly. Its almost mid September yet there is no news of a Miss Diva or even a n idea when it would be launched. If they are handpicking, why they are delaying it so unconditionally long
Suman has strong resemblance to Miss World 1997 Diana Hayden. And I dont know whether it help or block her acheiving the big coveted crown.
Last time, we sent the Indian version of Dayana Mendoza and she ended up at Top 20. Suman's BWAP is a good empowering project. Her catwalk is good. But what more important is - Will MWO give the crown soon back to India? Because in this new age its mostly about hosting, Venue, sponsors, etc., more than being a conglomeration of culture which gave importance to the host only to showcase the country's culture and heritage and not a signpost for a certified placement.
In this evolving field of pageantry, we need to prepare for the best (though expecting the worst)
She would have been a better option at Miss Universe considering the recent victory of India at Miss World. Maybe a runner up placement for sure. She is way better than Manushi.

I can see that, but at the same time I like Vartika for Miss Universe. I think she's a better fit. Suman's looks reminds me of somewhat of Parvathy O, India World 2008. If only she is destined to get us a similar finish. Fingers crossed.
