What I am loving so far in 2019 for Supra is the growth of new nationals. I really hope the Supra headquarters are keeping an eye on the start-up pageants. I am all supportive of established nationals having the Supra franchise, but these smaller orgs. are little fish in the pond and they 100% have my backing.
Chile is among one of the many nations this year who has gotten a franchise holder and so far, they are off to a great start. There are only 3 candidates, I don't know if there are any more to come, but so far, Chile is on the right track. With a new organisation, their candidate can easily enter the semi-finalists, with the continued backing of her directors.
Date to be announced but as I said, I am excited.

Speaking of new orgs., Africa needs some love from the 'Big 5'.
Actually, I think Supra has done it's best to get a diverse set of semi-finalists each year. I'm looking at you Gabon 2014, Suriname 2016, Ethiopia 2017, Brazil 2018. We have yet to get a black winner but I think we are close. Maybe 2019 will be the year we get an African, or a girl of African descent, to snatch the Supra crown ? I would love that !
The Ivory Coast has begun it's casting for their Supra candidates. I'm counting on them to send us a stunner. Last year, Africa was weak, there is no denying it, but by God, that continent has goddesses left, right and centre and I would love a weak sash like Ivory Coast to do well as Supra.
I mean, just scan some of the ladies who have shown up for casting. Beauties galore !

It's a big one !
On the 27th June, Colombia announced it's representative to Miss Supranational 2019. Miss Cartagena, D.T. and C., 4th Runner-Up of Señorita Colombia 2018, was appointed. Colombia, a nation that always comes prepared, has never won Miss Supranational but came oh so close in 2017, finishing 1st Runner-Up.
Welcome to the Supra family, Yaiselle Tous !

Tonight, the 29th June, Bolivia is crowning many of it's contestants to some of the international pageants around the globe. Now, Supranational is not among the titles up for grab, which is why I haven't uploaded the beauties in the competition.
However, I was going through Instagram and some Bolivian fans believe that they will get an appointment for Supranational tonight.
Specifically, one name seems to be cropping up.
We'll have to wait and see !

Well, it appears the rumours were true and Bolivian fans were right all along. Last night, at the Miss Bolivia 2019 pageant, a former Miss International Bolivia was designated to compete at the Miss Supranational 2019. Bolivia is coming strong this year !
Welcome to the Supra family, Maria Elena Antelo Molina !
