#WearYourPinoyPride| Chose to wear a T'nalak gown for my first travel event with Miss Tourism International in Macau! By @paoloblanco
.
The T'nalak is a Tboli fabric woven out of abaca fiber in South Cotabato. I dedicate wearing one for the late Lang Dulay, the great Filipina T'nalak weaver. She was given the Gawad sa Manlilikha ng Bayan award in 1998 for her outstanding craft, and contribution to the preservation of culture.
Every T'nalak weave carries the identity and history of the T'boli. Deeply honored to wear one.
