In my opinion, the show must be held in 2 hours.
1. The opening should be held outside the venue - preferably, the city center or any part of the city where it is held. The girls introduce themselves while in their national costumes, while their scores from the preliminary competition are shown, with pictures of them in evening gown, swimsuit, and their occupation/profession.
2. Their semi-finalist dress is different and must represent the uniqueness of each country's style.
3. The top 15 + 1 will be selected first, which will compete in swimsuit, which contains watery backgrounds and real props.
4. Afterwards, in order to give way for the judges to give their scores to the official tabulator, it will show videos of all 15 semi-finalists, which must last only a minute or so.
5. The top 10 will then be selected and the top 10 will compete in evening gown. They will be accompanied by chaperones and will have a background reminding them of formal city life (e.g. a park at night).
6. Then, a top 6 will be selected for the interview competition. The questions are simply preparatory and do not contain any references in society.
7. Afterwards, the top 3 will be selected for the final question and final look. The final question must be connected to society to determine if the girl is prepared to be an ambassadress for her nation and the world.
8. The final look will contain chaperones and employ a new background, with a serenading performer as usual, but he/she should not act as one of the chaperones.
9. Between the final look and the crowning moment, the winners of the Miss Photogenic, Congeniality, Best in National Costume, Best Swimsuit, and Best in Evening Gown (5 classic awards) will be announced via graphics (I prefer it this way.)
10. Afterwards, the host/s will thank everyone who made it possible, and the final walk of the outgoing Miss USA/Universe/Teen USA begins. She should wear her winning gown as a tribute unless she specifies to do a tribute to her parents or someone special. She can also wear her uniform at work to reflect her origins.
11. The results are announced in reverse order, but not too fast. The 1st runner-up is announced before the name of Miss USA/Universe/Teen USA. In Miss USA, the reigning Miss Universe gives the sash first; Miss Teen USA gives the bouquet; and the outgoing Miss USA puts the crown on. In Miss Universe, the first assistant gives the sash first; the second assistant (or Miss Teen USA if she can travel to the venue) gives the bouquet; and the outgoing Miss Universe puts the crown on her. In Miss Teen USA, the reigning Miss Universe gives the sash first; the reigning Miss USA gives the flowers, while Miss Teen USA puts the crown.
12. The show ends with the delegates congratulating the winner, while the hosts say ''goodnight'' or if held in a location in the Eastern Hemisphere, both ''goodnight'' and ''good morning'' for both the audience and the American audience.
Other notes:
1. The music that will be used will be the Orente and the neo-Orente. Only the Orente is used for the selection of the semi-finalists and the information segment, and introducing the outgoing Miss Universe for an interview prior the swimsuit competition. The neo-Orente is used to select the top 6, 3, the final walk (Paulina, Olivia, and Pia's music) the runners-up, and the crowning moment (the rock music used since last year).
2. Hosts can be either from the entertainment world or from the fashion world as long as they treat the show well and not make fun of it.
3. A set of 12 judges should judge the competitions.
4. During the competitions, their scores must be displayed except for the final question and final look.
5. Honorifics must be used since this is a way to show respect to the girls because they also represent not just their countries but also themselves.
6. The crown must be medium-sized and should not need pins in order to keep the crowning moment fast yet glorious.
7. A different stage design must be done each year with a nod to the host country by putting props that are familiar to them.
8. The winner must be selected using the original criteria in which substance is the key and not just your looks in order to make sure her reign will be without controversy that she will create.
9. The crowning assistants can be former Miss Universes from the host country If the host country's Miss Universes are not available, deceased, or if only one winner is available, a former high-placing candidate from the host country can assist. If not available, Miss Teen USA must be willing to assist. If not, a former Miss Universe or Miss USA can assist if they are available to do so. Sometimes, this assisting Miss USA/Universe is also a judge (e.g. Olivia Culpo in the 2015 crowning.)
10. In the opening, contestants must be introduced by continent/region, with the host continent being the last introduced in order to make sure that the host country is introduced last.
