I disagree. They can scale down the production and the expenses but I don't think cancelling the show entirely this year is a good idea. More than ever, they can show the world the real purpose of miss earth, which is to conserve and protect mother nature. I know a lot of people are hurting, but this pageant is also an opportunity for the organization to actually raise a lot of money for charities, which they can give to the victims in Visayas; and, if possible, they can ask the contestants help the victims rebuild their lives, like habitat for humanity and other orgs for example, as an activity.
Everything is so finite. But don't you think that that's what makes our time, at specific moments, so important?
