World Miss Toursim Ambasador 2018, the 2nd edition will be taking place in 2 countries - Vietnam & Thailand. The pageant will be broadcasted and covered live internationally on Missosology from July 25 - August 10. Aibedullina Talliya from Russia will crown her successor at the end of the event. 60 contestants from different corners of the world will compete for the crown in this year's edition.
World Miss Tourism Ambassador 2018 is not only a beauty arena but also a channel for promoting tourism, culture and tourism services of any country which sent a delegate to this contest. With that great mission, World Miss Tourism Ambassador gathers beautiful young girls with confidence, knowledge and interest in the development of tourism and tourism in the context of modern society and globalization. By finding out only one representative to become the tourism ambassador of the world, the winner of World Miss Tourism Ambassador 2018 will also participate in many promotional activities for the development of tourism both in her country and in all over the world during the year of her reign. Through the activities of the contest, the organizers hope this will become an information channel, as well as an open forum for all travel activists of each nation to send their message of tourism culture to neighbours around the world.
Eco Tourism is the main focus this year according to Justin Huy Nguyen, WMTA President & Founder. "This year the theme is "End Plastic Pollution." The campaign includes four major components: leading a grassroots movement to support the adoption of a global framework to regulate plastic pollution; educating, mobilising and activating citizens across the globe to demand that governments and corporations control and clean up plastic pollution; educating people worldwide to take personal responsibility for plastic pollution by choosing to reject, reduce, reuse and recycle plastics, and promoting local government regulatory and other efforts to tackle plastic pollution," he said.
