The Quintessential Boholana of 2016 has been crowned! Glyssa Perez who represented the town of Danao, bested other 15 candidates from different municipalities of Bohol. This annual search for Bohol's fairest woman is part of the Sandugo Festival, a commemoration of The Blood Compact, an international treaty of friendship between Spain & the Philippines which was executed by Spanish explorer Miguel López de Legazpi and Datu Sikatuna, the chieftain of Bohol in 1565.
