So remember Hannah's Beach Resort in the northern part of the Philippines where ME delegantes often go to within the duration of the international pageant? Apparently they're launching their own pageant called "Miss Hannah's World Tourism"
Judging by it's name, I presume it's a tourism related pageant. I noticed though that their logo seems a little familiar somehow
Among their first named contestants include Faith Landman (ME-Netherlands'17 - ME'17 Top8) and Tamara Jemuovic (ME-Canada'16)
Anyway, I'm neither for or against this pageant, I'm just saying things and pointing things out. I do wish Faith and Tamara well for this pageant tho, they were among my faves in their respective years

Mess Earth can't even find a decent and stable franchise holder in India! Such a beggar quiz bee pageant!

"previous miss earth queens have taken upon themselves to take up the franchises in their countries and it has been proven they are the most dedicated and most successful ones. they know what miss earth stands for and it is that unique connection that binds them to make it flourish. previous miss earth queens have done an exemplary job in progressively making the miss earth brand grow in their countries except of course that one queen from czech republic!!!! MISS EARTH 2018
Final Prediction
by: Alvin Sebetero
--------------
Welcome to my Final Prediciton for Miss Earth 2018.
I will start by saying that I love the transparency of the pageant this year. I am really glad that they have shown to the public that three rounds, which are the basis for the selection of semifinalists. One reason is that --- the three preliminaries, especially the interview just slapped all its haters very hard because it showed how strong, high-caliber and amazing the candidates are. After the interview, I was really, really impressed with this batch because majority of them gave an excellent performance.
Because of this, it makes predicting very difficult because 18 slots wouldn't be enough for this amazing ladies. My wishlist is, I hope this transparency in preliminaries will continue for future editions.
Now, before I discuss my favorites, my leaderboard is solely based on my opinion based on everything I have seen. Many ladies did really well, so it all boils down to a matter of taste, charisma and overall appeal.
I am very open-minded to the fact that others might hate my prediction or might be different from the final results but first, I am hoping I will be right. Second, if not, it would be okay to me still because I stand with my prediction because in my eyes, these ladies are the best.
So, here are my Top 18 + 5 spoilers.
--------------
MISS EARTH 2018 - PORTUGAL, Telma Madeira
¬ After what happened in interview, this is the biggest risk I have ever made. She spoke well but she spoke too much, but for me, I loved it. She is very inconsistent in all other fields of the competition and she may be 18 but I will be very, very happy to see her wear the Miss Earth crown because I know she will be perfect with it.
Miss Earth Air - MEXICO, Melissa Flores
¬ I am in love with her looks and aura. She is the winner when it comes to medal count and I understood why she did. There's something in here that is really lovable. She is both graceful and elegant in every way.
Miss Earth Water - ITALY, Sofia Pavan
¬ I wasn't expecting she would place this high on my list but after long hours of personal deliberation, I firmly believe she deserves it. She got one of the best bodies and faces in the competition. I really loved the way she walks and carry herself. Plus, her interview was impressive - surely one of the best from her region.
Miss Earth Fire - CHILE, Antonia Figueroa
¬ She is one of the ladies who impressed me so much yesterday. She is very smart and a great speaker. She looks very beautiful and also very consistent with her performances. Speaking English is definitely one of her advantages against her other fellow Latinas.
--------------
5. VENEZUELA, Diana Silva
¬ Undoubtedly, my winner for the figure and form. But what can we expect? She is born ready and prepared for this competition. I also have a feeling that she migh sneak in to the Top 4 if she gave a great performance, which she might.
6. VIETNAM, Phuong Khanh Nguyen
¬ What an excellent representative from Vietnam. I didn't notice her before but she keeps on growing from every round in preliminaries and that interview totally convince me that she will go all the way in this competition. Possible Top 4? - YES!
7. POLAND, Aleksandra Grysz
¬ I love the personality of this girl and her beauty. Plus, she delivers so well and strongly in the competition. I know this may sound repetitive, but she is another contender not only for Top 8 but also for Top 4. Now, if she enters the Top 4, my feelings are strong that she could even pull a victory.
8. NIGERIA, Maristella Okpala
¬ She is my sentimental favorite. A part of me really, really wanted to see her advance til the Final 4. She gives a very strong walk, very confident and I also love her looks. Black-barbie is in the house.
--------------
9. PHILIPPINES, Celeste Cortesi
¬ I agree with a friend of mine that she competed in the wrong year. Celeste is a possible contender for the crown but she is in a batch full of very competitive ladies. I know she is also competitive but I have a feeling that taking another crown would be a struggle. But I do commend her for trying her best.
10. SLOVENIA, Danijela Burjan
¬ She is so far, the best candidate from Slovenia, not only in Miss Earth but in all competitions in history. This is the kind of candidate Slovenia needs to send. Beautiful, confident, well-prepared and well-spoken. She surely deserves a spot and she could also go even higher.
11. COLOMBIA, Valeria Ayos
¬ Great body, great looks and I love her skin color. The strong caliber that Colombia always sends to international pageants but too be honest, there are times where she bores me. Which is why I kept her this low. But that's just me, don't take it negatively.
12. PANAMA, Diana Lemos
¬ I adore this girl so much. Great personality and she is always giving strong performances. Her interview was also funny and I love her wit and confidence.
--------------
13. NORTHERN IRELAND, Christie Van Schalkwyk
¬ Great candidate and if she can be able to pass through to the Top 4, she could be a threat because she is a great speaker.
14. PUERTO RICO, Krystal Xamairy
¬ I just love her beauty so much and even if she is a bit petite, she can still manage to stand out.
15. NETHERLANDS, Margaretha De Jong
¬ This is the most unsure spot in my prediction probably because I have loved her so much and I know she has all the goods to go as far as Top 4. So, prove me wrong, my dear.
16. USA, Yashvi Aware
¬ Another sentimental favorite of mine. Beautiful, well-polished and intelligent.
17. NEPAL, Priya Sigdel
¬ I just love the intelligence of this woman. I know she is a great threat to victory if she manage to penetrate the Top 4 but the reason why she is here is that I am worried for the first three rounds she has to face. But if she can do it, I know she is deserving.
18. INDONESIA, Ratu Vashti Annisa
¬ Another great speaker from Asia-Pacific region. She really earns her spot deservingly after solid performances in preliminaries.
--------------
Spoilers:
TRINIDAD & TOBAGO, although I think she gave the best responses compared to other 80+ candidates, I am worried with the other rounds.
BRAZIL, shockingly, I was surprised she ranked low in my score list.
GUATEMALA, I am crying deep inside for not including her in my 18 because I really liked her so much.
KOREA, Another sentimental favorite of mine. I was so sure she is in my Top 18 but I am even surprised that I left her out.
DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, she did well and was one of the favorites because of hre physique but she bores me.
