“ We proudly introduce your representative of America’s paradise, Isabella Bennett. Isabella is 25 years old and stands at 166.37 cm. She is of several different nationalities including African American and Portuguese; Isabella was raised in a biracial household and has always identified as mixed race.
Isabella's early life greatly shaped her commitment to protecting and preserving our planet. She was born into a coastal community and spent the first half of her life living on an island which gave her a profound sense of appreciation for the environment. This appreciation turned into a personal mission to advocate for the Earth. In 2017 Isabella was trained by U.S Vice President Al Gore as a member of the Climate Reality Leadership Corps, a nonprofit organization dedicated to spreading awareness of the climate crisis and working for solutions to the greatest challenge of our time. Since her training she has served as an official mentor within the organization to high school students across the United States. She is a trained public speaker and was invited to speak in Washington D.C in support of climate legislative protection in the USA back in 2018. Additionally Isabella has helped to organize several statewide rallies to advocate for evidence based policy, science that has been peer reviewed, and acceptance of the scientific consensus on climate change.
Isabella is a first generation college graduate who attended the New York Institute of Art and Design where she received Dual Certificates in Wedding Planning and Event Planning. She is currently studying disaster relief at the Community College of Rhode Island where she received a full tuition scholarship to work towards her Associates Degree. After graduation in the spring, she plans on transferring to Excelsior College to finish earning her Bachelor of Science in Emergency/Disaster Management and Homeland Security. Ultimately her hope is to put her degrees to good use by becoming an Emergency Coordinator or Environmental Planner for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Isabella was inspired to pursue this career path after experiencing several natural disasters. (Continued in comments)
Prior to going back to school to work towards a career in disaster relief, Isabella worked as an Audio Visual Technician and Information Technology Associate for Gordon Research Conferences, a nonprofit organization who orchestrates prestigious international scientific conferences. The conference topics cover frontier research in the biological, chemical, and physical sciences, and their related technologies. Over the course of four years Isabella managed 140 international science conferences and had the opportunity to work with leading scientists from around the world, including several Nobel Prize Laureates. At present Isabella works as a professional actress on movies and television shows that film in the United States. Performing has always been one of her greatest passions in life and she proudly became a member of the Screen Actors Guild - American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) in 2019.
Isabella has been involved with the Miss Earth Organization for three years and earned the USA “Beauty for a Cause” award twice during her time competing at Miss Earth USA. Throughout her pageant career she has won the “Miss Congeniality/ Friendship” award five times. Isabella is currently residing on the mainland (Rhode Island) and looks forward to revisiting her Caribbean/African roots in two months as she highlights our U.S territories beautiful beaches and national park.“
