The Huge national director of Myanmar made the right decision to appoint her as this year's rep after all.
I love the emphasis. 'Huge' national director

Ohh please Ecuador don't make it more difficult for us to choose! Americas is already packed with potential placers. But I can't blame Kath Espin if she doesn't want her girl to be left behind.
If there is one person who deserves to compete in Miss Earth, it’s Jocelyn. We all know she should have won that year. Instead, she was sent to a minor pageant. Queen Kat was accused of favoritism when Jocelyn joined the 2018 line up as a wild card. But all the negative fan feedbacks may have affected her chances of winning.

The huge ND knows how to handle HIS franchise very well.

I won't be surprise if girls like what we regarded as "mediocre beauty", will eventually land in the Top 20 because of their eloquence and substance. Earth Talk is an eye opener for all.

This girl and their team did their homework. I am impressed
I've read somewhere that she's been training with a Filipino team virtually, Im not just sure if it's RL or KFs.

Just goes to show that the women who show up at Miss Earth aren’t just a bunch of pretty faces.
For future editions, perhaps Carousel can do Earth Talks for two weeks right before the women start heading to the host country for the live activities. This way, we get to know every single one of them on a more personal basis before they’re kept busy by the org.
For me, the Earth Talks is all about female empowerment which is something that pageantry needs to promote more in order to survive in the 21st century. And Miss Earth has been in the forefront of this movement. Which is why I cringe whenever I see this other pageant treat its women like caricatures making them resort to exaggerated poses and walks in order to elicit excitement from the audience.

VENEZUELA
My first participation in @missearth 2020⠀
HELLO MY PEOPLE !! I tell you that yesterday was my first meeting at # MissEarth2020, I was in a live with my colleagues from Guyana, Peru and Puerto Rico !! It was an incredible experience for me to call myself VENEZUELA before the world !! I want to share with you a part of my participation (to see it complete, leave the link in my stories). Also tell you that this is my first time speaking English in public, in such an important interview !! I must admit that it was a real challenge for me, but regardless of the nerves and the adrenaline of the moment I fought to give my best !! ⠀
⠀
The competition is just beginning, we have two months left full of challenges in which I hope to get better and better! I have a lot to learn, to improve but above all I have A LOT STILL TO GIVE !!! Thanks to all who were accompanying me on the live with their messages of support, thank you @missvenezuelaearth family for so much love and support !! (google translated)

YALITZA MONSALVE RIVERA
Miss Earth Ecuador 2020 is Yalitza Monsalve Rivera from Calceta. A total change, the good thing about being able to afford the expenses.
And has the franchise already passed into the hands of Miss Earth 2016 or is it still facing legal problems?
