I am shocked she didn't make it. She was consistent and strong during the entire competition. Maybe they didnt like her during the closed interview? Also shocked that Venezuela was not inlcuded in top 20 and Ghana didn't make the top 4.

maybe the preliminary judges and the chaperones got annoyed to her when she is introducing herself about her profession.

She rely on her background and achievement which is quiet a feat. She is the most hype by Filipinos because of her being sweet and approachable. However it is a competition which she failed in two categories. The Figure and form which very obvious on her body and the no make up round. She look stressed during no make up round and her belly part is not sexy at all. However I am also sad she didn't make it.

She probably excelled in the Intelligence Prelims but not in the other two - No make-up and Body.
Honestly, her best bet of entering the semi finals is the Eco Video or Eco Media.
I thought she had the Eco Media on lockdown until Thailand presented her fashion line project made of recycled materials. Plus she actually really campaigned hard.
Eco Video is something up for arguments. If it was up to me, I still think India's was better. But that's not to diminish the fact that the content on England's Eco Video was also great.

Hmm,, no, Philippines could easily redeem or bounce back with Miss International. I can foresee her stunning pics with that mikimoto crown on her head. India doesnt stand a chance there. India, as usual, is indeed failing badly this year. :%(( :%(( :%((

hi Fragranceexotica (my goodness you have a long name, lol). Have you heard about Teju lately? How is she coping up? I am really sorry for her...I am her biggest fan. I hope she continues to work for the environment or her advocacy even without crown. And also if she could try once again for Miss World? I really think her credentials are suited to either Miss Earth or Miss World. She should do well in Miss World if given a chance because there is no competition there for swimsuit which is her waterloo.

She has been devastated fir sure. She looked drowsy in her pics. If you work so passionate about something and you lose it, it could make a person go really depressed. That's quite natural. But the real issue is aggressive fans are slamming miss earth left and right here in India.they go on like this: "see, we told you, miss earth is anti Indian since 2010", "why the hell we need to insult our hardworking ladies" etc etc... Rabid fans are cramming into divine groups social media pages to drop miss earth. In fact divine group had turned inactive on Instagram after oct 26. They might be concerned about miss intercontinental pulling out of India.

As far as analysing their mindset, Indian fans in general believes that one person who is a judge a woman who is behind the exclusion of miss indias from semis.
The inside talks among pageant circle:
Many are saying: "we already have a miss earth crown and they are not gonna give another one in next
20 years, let us stop sending candidates for at least 20 years until meo evolves and changes its perception about miss India."

Indian pageant sites have been United in prompting divine group to drop ME franchise and completely avoid any coverage of the same in India and fans are up to discourage anyone who takes up franchise of Miss Earth, by withdrawing support, etc.

Sadly nobody is seeing there is another side to it.i expected all this even before the finale. I was 100℅ sure of this happening. Anyways bygones be bygones. I hope things change. I just said the current scene happening in my country which I hoped the last thing to be happened. :| :| :|

The only thing that made me sad during that moment when James Deakin finished announcing the Top 20 was upon realizing that India wasn't called. It was heartbreaking for me because there are only 2 women I was eagerly waiting to be called: her and Puerto Rico. But I accepted it now. I actually think upon retrospect that there are also other many excellent ladies just like her who wasn't able to penetrate the semis : Guatemala, Bolivia, DR, Kenya, Nepal, Paraguay among others.

Still, wishing the best for Dr. Teju!
