The first of the Big5 relevant and major international beauty pageants is concluding today, October 26 at the world-class Cove Manila in Okada Manila in the Philippines, with more than 80 of the world’s most beautiful eco-warriors vying for the coveted Miss Earth crown.

For the past weeks, the delegates travelled around the Philippines, getting their hands dirty all for the unsaturated and real “Earthly” experience. Everywhere they go, they were welcomed by the warm hospitality of the Filipinos. Miss Earth has once again proven that its home country could provide a once-in-a-lifetime experience for all its delegates.

After weeks in the Philippines competing in various pre-pageant activities, spreading environmental awareness, and promoting eco-tourism, it is time to narrow down the field to just 20. It is no easy task, but after careful deliberation by our core group of correspondents and experts, we present to you our Final Hot Picks.

Leading our Final Hot Picks is the stunning Emanii Davis of the USA. The 25-year-old environmentalist and future school counselor from Georgia is finally representing her country in a Big5 pageant after two runner-up finishes in other national pageants in 2016 and 2017. She was an early favorite but got overshadowed by other girls at the beginning of the competition, but we believe she is actually peaking at the right time. Emanii is one of the best speakers in the batch and this is very evident during the intelligence prejudging. She also has strong stage presence, too. It’s about time the USA wins the Miss Earth crown.

In second place is the trending Evelyn Appiah of Ghana. This stunner is probably the hottest candidate right now after bagging multiple gold medals in the pre-pageant competitions. It is very evident that Evelyn has trained and studied her every move for this pageant. It’s high time for another woman from Africa to make it to he elemental court and Evelyn would be an incredible choice.

Not far behind in third is the lovely Klara Vavruskova of the Czech Republic. She has a great figure that would help her breeze through the first rounds of the competition. But above all, she has one of the most beautiful faces in this year’s roster. It would be a crime to waste this beauty!

Rounding out the Top 4 is another stunner in Nellys Pimentel of Puerto Rico. After struggling to place in the Miss Earth semis the past years, it looks like the island has found a gem. Nellys is in all aspects ready to win the crown for her country. With her strong stage presence, stunning face and gift of gab, she will definitely be up there come finale.

Not to be forgotten is India’s Tejaswini Manogna. The 23-year-old gifted prodigy has one of the most impressive credentials among this year’s delegates. But more than her accomplishments, she has the face and the pageant experience, too. After winning in the Miss Earth crown in 2010, Tejaswini is this country’s best bet at replicating that victory.

Also worth noting is Portugal’s Bruna Silva. She is no Telma Madeira in terms of beauty but she has the same dedication and charisma as her predecessor. Bruna has been impressive in all rounds of the competition and she surely could give them front-runners a run for their money.

Alisa Manenok from Belarus is also another top contender for the crown. She is undeniably one of the most beautiful faces, if not the most beautiful, in this year’s competition. But more then just the looks, she also has the pageant experience and the heart for the cause.

Spain’s Sonia Hernandez has this classic, unassuming beauty that is too hard to ignore. She might not be the tallest candidates, but she surely makes up in consistency.

Janelle Tee of the Philippines has been silencing naysayers since the Miss Earth pageant started. It can’t be denied that she has a great figure and oozing stage presence. She also has the communication skills fit for an eco-warrior queen.

Venezuela’s Michell Castellanos is truly living up to her powerhouse country’s name. She is a showstopper and a head-turner in every Miss Earth event. It is not easy to just count her out.

Puerto Rico is the most consistent in TOP4. I would be ecstatic if she wins even if my main winners is always USA. However, I could not deny the amazing presence and performance of Puerto Rico. She is very consistent in her styling, photographs well and has no bad angles. She is the most beautiful, for me, among the TOP4 materials except for Czech Republic. Her looks is so versatile. Sometimes, she looks like Megan Young, Venus Raj and the ever beautiful Filipina Actress Dawn Zulueta who seems to be not ageing at all.
