Miss Guam: Interview Round

Postby Nand » Sun Oct 13, 2019 5:33 pm

I have watched several clips and interviews of the delegates.

I say,
WATCH OUT for
MISS GUAM!

Puerto Rico (My favorite), Ghana (My second favorite), and USA are spontaneous and eloquent

BUT

MISS GUAM

is the most eloquent and sensible. She's concise, and direct to the point!
Q& A is her forte!

There was an interview conducted with USA together with the American territories which included Puerto Rico, but I can't find now.

I'm worried about Miss India. Miss India was one of the TOP 4 favorites due to her credentials, but after the 2 rounds, she's fading. She performed decent in the Figure and Form but not spectacular. Beauty of Face is also decent, but not enough to be there. I want her to be there. I hope the judges have different opinions than most of the forumers here after the 2 rounds. Also, she beats around the bush when she talks. I hope she can still penetrate the TOP 20.

If Miss Guam enters the final round, it will be game over!

I agree that Guam could grab one of the Asian spots.

But I don’t think India is fading. I felt she lost some ground after the Figure and Form round but I thought she did great great in the Beauty of Face and Poise round. Remember that more weight is given to the second judging event.

This year, I’m worried about Asia though. After the two rounds, I’m not sure if anyone made it into the top 10. Not only are Europe and America exceptionally strong but some Africans are really competitive (compared to previous years). Which means the Asians might end up competing for two spots in the top 18 unless they do so well in the interview round while the other continents falter.

I think Guam, India and Philippines will enter the Top 20. But New Zealand, Mongolia, Nepal, and China are close contenders. I have to go with Guam for now. My Second choice is India. I'll wait for the interview round.
