To recognise World Oceans Day 2018 which has a focus this year of preventing plastic pollution and encouraging solutions for a healthy ocean, I couldn’t resist getting a shot in one of my designs for my upcoming sustainable swimwear company, L.A. Rush …thanks @kevwiseimages can’t wait for you to shoot the first campaign.
I’m so happy to see my vision for change taking shape, I first had this idea whilst studying on The Peter Jones Enterprise Academy in 2014. Following that then being backed by The Prince’s Trust in 2016…its been a long project haha.
We use swimwear fabric derived from 100% regenerated polyamide made by ECONYL. ECONYL works in partnership with Healthy Seas to use discarded fishing nets pulled from our oceans to make the regenerated yarn in our fabrics, the underwater clean ups also remove other marine debris. The mission of Healthy Sea’s is ‘from waste to wear’
SHE competed in Miss Global 2017

#missearthengland @missearthuk I always make sure when I’m out and about to keep hydrated especially when working out, and to avoid plastic, especially single use plastic I am sure to carry my stainless steel reusable water bottle everywhere with me!
My challenge for 2018/19 is to cycle from London to Paris, this year is was to run my first marathon and I did indeed at 5hr 45mins after an intense 5 weeks of training lol. When I do, I’ll definitely be wearing a helmet and more than likely have my hair tied back unlike in this pic haha. what a great way to travel and reduce my carbon footprint, as well as cycling being a great exercise #missearth2018
Getting my skin prepped for the Miss Earth UK finals. I love using #lush face masks, not only are Lush face masks 100% cruelty free and Vegan they also make the pots out of reused plastic. I’m using ‘Catastrophe Cosmetic’ in this one and my other favourite is ‘don’t look at me’ also perfect for my acne prone skin. #skincareroutine #skincare
