Shut up you fool! Stop embarrassing yourself with your unfounded claims.
Last I heard...Filipinos can be found in every corner of the world. And since they love pageantry, it isn’t surprising that many women of Filipino heritage join pageants wherever they can find them. That’s why you see them in every pageant out there, not only in Miss Earth.
And stop being such a crab. There’s nothing in the rules book that says that if you’ve got Filipino blood, then you can’t join Miss Earth. So what’s to stop these women from getting themselves involved in an environmental cause.
Gosh! So stupid!

I didn’t realize you went to see the pageant in Australia. Did you watch the show? You seemed so sure. Now why don’t you offer us some proof of your claim.
Here’s another jerk to be beware of, peeps. He isn’t Mr Shade for nothing.
I’m gonna wait...

I dont want to force myself and say yeah she is stunning and she will make it when i know in my naked eyes she is just next random girl to be honest. Oh well we know she is halfie so she should take advantage to it.. just that im not into her beauty.. mediocre.

Just wanted to jump on here after reading everyone's comments and opinions. Thank you to those who have been supportive of mine and the rest of the candidates through the pageant, it was a very interesting and rewarding experience to be a part of a pageant that is working hard to protect the world we live in and the other species that inhabit it.
All 16 of us candidates (Alexandra dropped out due to injury) worked very hard and became great friends in the process and we are all supportive of each other, no matter what the outcome had been.
Speaking on behalf of the other Filipina-Australian girls who competed (Monique, our Miss Earth Australia 2018, and Amelia, who placed in the top 10), our ethnicity just happens to be a coincidence. All of us had just as much passion to be a part of this pageant as the girls who weren't of Filipino heritage. Half the top 4 were not of Filipino descent.
If you had been there on the evening, then you would have heard how well Monique answered her Q&A questions. She answered just like a Miss Earth would, and that is why she won - not because she is half-Pinay.
So while yes, you can have your opinion about who you would have liked to win, be like myself and the rest of the candidates and be happy for our winner, who deserves it wholeheartedly. Being a queen is about being a good sport, whether you win or not.
Once again, thank you all for the support, and hope to hear from you all in the next pageant.
Susana Downes,
Miss Earth Australia Water 2018
