The moment the girls were reintroduced to the stage, I felt a sense of accomplishment. 2 reasons: First, I actually graded them all and focused on their form and second, I successfully covered the event and now have a story to share.
As the night came to an end, the cocktail party ensued and the competitiveness faded. The girls were in their relaxed state hence it’s mingling time.
Some girls claimed they cried backstage because they were dissatisfied with their performance. Some were happy and some were just in their stoic mood.
Overall, it was a fantastic evening of beauty and form. No pretentions, no drama, and most importantly, with the Miss Earth Organization treating the women with professionalism and friendliness. It seems like they were all delegates to an international conference. They were viewed as representatives, not as just plain, beautiful women.
It was indeed a night to remember.
Despite the disappointment some people felt because they were not able to watch the livestream right, we hold on to Ms. Lorraine’s message: “Hang on.” We know that there are more to come. The organization was aware of what happened, and for sure, they will do something about it in the coming preliminary events.
Let’s be excited and hopeful, and let’s not forget, that at the core of everything, is Miss Earth’s real cause: a better environment for the “future of our children and grandchildren.”

Watch out for our top picks for Form and Figure.
Indulge me in some pictures I took and some proof that I was actually there.
