Let us wait for another innovation, the no make up interview.
Then the dreaded intelligence preliminary.

I do think only Miss Earth has this unique category of judging the delegates by their figure and form (body) and beauty of face (face with no make-up). Other pageants, even the big ones, judge them by the way they carry in swimsuit. Am I right, or has their any other pageant apart from ME that has this kind of judging criteria?

I think that it's time for Carousel to explore the technical / legal requirements, if legitimately doable, to have the innovative pageant patented under the rules of international jurisprudence. This is to prevent the upcoming pageant newbies from copying what rightfully are attributable parameters in the Ms Earth brand. I have no clue whether this is being done or in MEO's order of priority to establish exclusivity of parameters under its domain.

It's too obvious where your sentiments lie with. You can't follow Ms Earth at the same time inserting your distaste denigrating the girls shamelessly to make a point. No one is forcing you to follow Ms Earth if you truly hate the pageant. You're a silent admirer who is in denial. Spill out your vitriol some place else where you can have your audience' wild applause! But I think you're more that excited to get updates about Ms Earth like any avid fan does!

if covering the face in a swimsuit competition IS the innovation, I think it will not sit well with feminists or other women's rights group. You see, these groups denounce even just the concept of a pageant as it only objectifies women. With this "innovation", it's all the more apparent.
If that was not the innovation, then what is? I'm really confused.

Let me help you with this. The veil concept is to actually cover the face of the delegates to remove any untoward bias when judging this segment. Notice that they also removed the sashes so judges would refrain from looking at the power of the sash and avoid getting distracted by the face.
I am witness to this last night, i judged the girls solely on the body. The moment they removed the veil, bias will indeed come into play. MEO also hired fitness experts because they know what fit looks like.
In the next rounds MEO will hire fashion experts for beauty of face (without make up) round and environmental experts for the dreaded interview round.
Trivia: all the girls were made to wear similar make up and lipstick to even the playing field last night.
So i hope that’s clear dear!
Hence the innovation. This then makes the judging process technically fair.

I bet the girls themselves felt embarrassed already. Not to mention, the face has a certain amount of influence on figure and form of an individual. Do they really think covering the face will help them judge figure and form more accurately? And what the hell is the higher level that ME has achieved with this so called innovation? Does it mean from now on beauty pageants should ask contestants to cover their faces? Ridiculous. Does this “innovation” have a meaningful purpose? The whole thing can be wrapped up in just one word CIRCUS. Today ME made history??? Delusional
