No wonder she made it far into the competition. I think the judges saw the sincerity in her. Even though she was clearly eyeing the Miss Universe title when she competed in her national pageant, I'm glad to see that she took her Miss Earth title to heart and transformed herself into an environmental activist.
I also hope this puts to rest the unfair accusation that the only reason she made it into the semifinals is because of her Filipino heritage. Looking back, clearly that wasn't the case.
Whoever wins the Miss Earth Sweden title this year will have large shoes to fill. Hopefully, Cloie can help guide her.
