KOYAL RANA for Miss International India 2018

Postby XAMURAI » Sat Jan 13, 2018 4:26 am

India's quest for the elusive pearl crown has been too long! And as the correspondent of Missosology for Miss International since 2003, I firmly believe that after nearly six decades, the crown will go to India if they send this beautiful woman, whom I also pegged as my Miss World 2014 winner.

KOYAL RANA

Image

However, there are many things that need to be done first. Femina Miss India should get the license of Miss International. Truth to be told, it is only the MI crown that Femina has failed to conquer, and it's sad that they had given it up after 2014. They could have always recycled some of their past winners who were ignored by Julia. Look at what Osmel did with Diana Croce! And also, with Goizeder Azua who won the title in 2003, at the expense of an Indian stunner, Shonali nagrani, who ended up as the 1st Runner-up.

India is an important ally of Japan. Indian people are also highly regarded by the Japanese. I think, it is time for Femina to consider this option. Although it is an unsolicited advice, and I very rarely do it, I hope it reaches to them.

Namaste and have a great day!!!

It is a good idea but it's very unlikely. I hope the franchise comes back to Miss India org and that every year they appoint a suitable girl for miss international.

Miss International charges the least franchise fee among all the pageants that I know... It is just a matter of giving the delegate the right mindset why she is in Japan, what kind of contest is Miss International, and how will her stay in Japan benefit her in the future. Femina can actually gain a lot whether their delegate wins or not. The problem with them, as I had observed during the years when they still held the franchise, they were acting like cry babies when Miss India loses. Under the current system, the Japanese government is very much involved with MI, and there are lots of support coming from business establishments and government agencies that can actually help their delegate with her future career. It's not just about winning!

I couldn't believe how she had missed the Top 5 that year! I think that was far worse than what Catriona experienced. At least, Cat made it to the Top 5.

When did they act like cry babies, i think you must be exaggerating. MI was always a minor pageant for them, like it is for other countries as well. I don't think they'll cry over it. I appreciate MI as a pageant, but I also don't like how they always go for a certain kind of girl. Some girls are open to alter their personalities to become more soft spoken and demure for some time, but others might not want to do that and rightly so. It's their pageant and they can choose their winner accordingly. In my opinion MI should learn to appreciate all kinds of beautiful women, irrespective of how loud their voice sounds like when they speak and how small their face is.

In my opinion MI should learn to appreciate all kinds of beautiful women, irrespective of how loud their voice sounds like when they speak and how small their face is.

Let me just cite an example. In 2013, when Gurleen arrived in Tokyo, she talked too much about how popular she is as a celebrity in India, etc.. etc.. One of the staff members at MI told me if what she is saying was true, and believe me, I had to defend her because I was a fan of Gurleen's beauty. She is really beautiful! Unfortunately, there were things that happened without my presence that really annoyed the MIO staff, and that had something to do with her being too proud of herself and her status in India. That is a big NO in Japanese culture.
In 2014, you sent the absolute opposite of Gurleen... the very demure, smart and humble Jhataleka. But again, I have to say, it was her gown that killed her chance. Just imagine the damage that it caused her during the voting because only Top 10 was chosen that year. The first aspect that is being judged in MI is the attitude of the girls. During the finals, although everyone competes on stage, only a few girls are actually in the running for a slot in the Top 10 or Top 15. Jhataleka was a favorite by the staff and fans, but the judges only see what's on stage and she blew her chances up, with that gown choice.
A year later, Femina just gave up! They apparently complained that MI will never crown an Indian girl, and the show was not entertaining (which I agree!!!). Although to me, it just doesn't sound right that MI must crown an Indan girl out of pressure. There are countries which never placed at MI although they kept on sending girls in the contest. Take a look at SIngapore and Malaysia!

Although I would like to see Koyal as Miss India International 2018, its something that is very unlikely to happen.
1. I heard they dont like slim candidates, then how would they get impressed by Koyal who is of slim figure?
2. I dont think India can showcase a great performance unless the franchise goes back to femina's clutch. But now I dont think femina doesnt give a damn about it as MWO and femina are working very closer than ever nowadays. India is also the reigning Miss World.
3. ?However people speak, everybody knows MIO is cold towards Indian candidates.
4. What is the benefit of winning Miss International title when the experience is nothing but sitting at home and making some personal tours to a few nearby countries?
if thats the case, Femina could opt for a much better (both in production and experience wise) option called Supranational where the winners atleast travel and get interviewed by foreign channels. Femina knows the winning formula also. We have two winners. Asha has already appeared in ads of Yamaha and Closeup. Srinidhi too got ads and commercials and now has completed shooting for a big budget film called KGF and is also the main female lead. Where as none of the recent Miss India Internationals got a limelight atleast once.
To conclude,
I dont insult or belittle Miss International, but I have finalised my opinion that Miss International is not the pageant for India. period. :)>-

I dont mind clapping at Miss World and Miss Universe, bcoz its indeed a learning experience, India should focus only on Miss World, Miss Universe & Miss Supranational and why you still try to impress certain pageants when you already realize their attitude towards you. ?

Also, they seem to be aiming at winning Miss Gwand International...
Lets face it, Miss International has got a tag of a racist pageant, to have not crowned a single indian or an african beauty(How ironical to their pageant name)
there was an even a year of African black out.

Koyal Rana ia an Indo Aryan beauty and She's far superior by Japanese standard. I am 100 percent sure that She will clap in Miss International because Japanese are suffering from superiority complex which is laughable because Indo Aryans are the best people in the world..thats the fact..

Dude please stop fabricating fake stories to just prove your point. There were several instances were girls with weaker performance advanced further in the competition so don't give us these excuses. We are not interested in Miss International anymore.

BTW can you elaborate why Miss India was robbed in 2003 over that Venezuelan when Miss India was very Miss International prototype.

Hey dude! You're just desktop wannabe pageant analyst. You don't know what yoU're talking about. I even doubt if you've ever judged a pageant. And I highly doubt if you've ever set foot in Japan, or met a Japanese person. So..... NEXT!
