1. Apart from the travel restrictions, the government is also easing certain other restrictions on the island. From February 2, there will be no mandatory closures or restrictions on alcohol sales.
2. In addition all establishments whose primary business is to serve food will operate at 75 percent capacity for indoor operations and at full capacity for outdoor operations. Bars and venues that primarily serve alcohol will operate at 50 percent capacity.
3. For large scale events, venues will limit capacity to 50 percent but will no longer be required to stay under 250 attendees.
4. Among the other measures still in effect and not modified include the requirement of a negative COVID-19 test (either antigen or PCR) for all travelers arriving on international flights taken within one day prior to departure along with proof of vaccination.

"Right now there is no known statement about plane tickets or hotel payment for the 40 girls who must come, who pays for meals, production of the show, worldwide television broadcast and all the things that this type of show requires."
"It has not been said if Tourism or the DMO (means Destination Marketing Organizations) has to pay more to cover the expenses of 40 girls who will come and, obviously, all the production equipment. So so far they haven't said a word, and that's bad, the more communication... the better.
I know Stephanie del Valle was very excited to do the contest in Puerto Rico, but she also has to have a lot of responsibility for giving information to the media, which from what we see will be smoke signals to decipher what will happen in March."
