Expect also Singapore to place high this year after they raked a huge chunk of money in there in a cum-charity event.

New Silk Road will not allow Kenya to host. They signed a 3 year deal with the MWO. They will do anything to prevent others from hosting since Miss World was profitable in 2017. New Silk Road as we all know, have invested over 1 billion US to host MW for the next three years. This can mean either it is hosted in China or hosted in a NSR country. That was the original plan last year. Miss World contest was to start in Singapore, then they would have traveled to Malaysia with the finals in Sanya but MWO reported the hotel wasn't ready at that time. I am not sure they would do it this year. We will have to wait and see...

From what I remember the 3 year contract is for Miss World China, for Miss World only one year contract was signed earlier this year, venue for next year is still open for bidding

Lol This indeed reminds us of how Pia won. The Philippines had to pay 21 million dollars to host the year after Pia’s win. Kinda obvious
