The 2015 Miss France Pageant will be held on December 6, 2014 at the Zenith of Orléans in Orléans, Orléanais (the region of the current Miss France, Flora Coquerel). The Regional elections will begin on June until the end of October.
In total, 33 young women's from all the regions and territories of France will compete for the crown. Like the previous years, the pageant will broadcast for the 20th time consecutive on TF1.
The winner and the runners-up will compete in Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss Earth and Miss International .
1st Runner up: Mehiata Riaria (Tahiti)
2nd Runner up: Laetizia Penmellen (Provence)
3rd Runner up: Aurianne Sinacola (Côte d' Azur)
4th Runner up: Chloé Deher (Guadeloupe)

In 1953, Two french named Christiane Martel and Denise Perrier won the 2 biggest international pageants of the world: Miss Universe & Miss World. It was a year of success for us. Till now, they're both our 1st and only french representatives which had won the Miss Universe and Miss World pageants.
Christiane Martel, was not the Miss France winner that year, Sylviane Carpentier, was originally the winner of the Miss France 1953 pageant. For unknown reasons, she was replaced by Christiane Martel to represent France at Miss Universe 1953 pageant, which was the 2nd edition of the Miss Universe pageant. The pageant was held on july 17, 1953 at Long Beach Municipal Auditorium, California (USA). 27 contestants competed for the Miss Universe title, that year.
At the end of the event, Christiane Martel which was 18 years old, won the pageant and became Miss Universe 1953. She was crowned by Julie Adams, an american actress. The outgoing titleholder, Armi Kuusela (Miss Universe 1952) from Finland, resigned before her reign ended. Christiane Martel was a judge at the 2007 Miss Universe contest, which was won by Riyo Mori from Japan and was held at the National Auditorium, Mexico City (MEXICO). She also assisted at the Miss France 2011 pageant, which was won by Laury Thilleman. This was Christiane's last television appearance.
Denise Perrier was crowned Miss France World 1953 by Miss France World 1952, Nicole Drouin. Then, she represented our country at Miss World 1953 pageant, which was the 3rd edition of the Miss World pageant. The pageant was held on October 19, 1953 at Lyceum Theatre, London (UNITED KINGDOM). 15 contestants competed for the Miss World title, that year.
At the end of the event, Denise Perier which was 18 years old, won the pageant and became Miss World 1953. She was crowned by the outgoing titleholder, May Louise Flodin (Miss World 1952) from Sweden. Denise Perrier was a judge at the 2005, 2010 and 2011 Miss World contests. She assisted at the Miss France 2011 pageant and also at Miss World 2013 pageant, were our representative, Marine Lorphelin finished as 1st Runner up to Megan Young, the winner from Philippines. The pageant was held at Bali Nusa Dua, Convention Center in Bali (INDONESIA). This was Denise's last television appearance.
