When Angela Ponce was crowned Miss Spain Universe 2018, I asked a friend who is actively a member of the Catholic Women's League
and she declined to comment knowing how the organization will react if she said something positive about it. " Let's leave this to the
Spanish people to discuss, If it becomes a Filipino concern, I will reserve my two cents worth for a later discussion."
Well, karma is a bitch. Lately, Kataluna Enriquez, a Filipino trans won Miss Nevada 2021 and the bragging right to represent her state in
Miss USA 2021. A Filipino trans and a winner maybe I could fish now more cans of worms from her. And as expected she gave me that
patented answer: "Let the American people sort this out. I know she is a Filipino but she is representing America and not the Philippines.
So spare me the burden of saying something you don't want to hear."
And now there is another candidate for Miss Universe Philippines 2021, Keylyn Trajano. Adding more salt to the wound, the candidate is
a Filipino and she is joining a Filipino pageant, so there is no reason for her to take cover. I told her, Lady you can spit it out. Say anything
you want, even if those words offended me.
"You will never stop huh? Okey. I'll give you a piece of my mind. I heard about her today. I read about it in ., and I was
extremely embarrassed and offended. It was so Bastos and I can't imagine myself washing my dirty linens in public. The enthusiasm
that they are getting from pageant blogs gave them that false assurance that it is okey, even though you have exposed the most sordid
details of your life to people who don't want to know. All we want here is just a little decency and respect for those people who don't
want to be involved.
"See how they capitalized on cheap talks just to create traffic and make a splash. Educating us with such a graphic description. should be
talked about in whispers, and not in pageant columns where nothing is left to the imagination."
To give you what she meant, this is the portion of the write-up that really ticked her off,
"Keylyn Trajano, 26-year-old model, is making history as the first Intersexual woman applicant in the #MissUniversePhilippines pageant.
Intersex is a general term used for a variety of conditions in which a person is born with a reproductive or sexual anatomy that doesn’t
seem to fit the typical definitions of female or male. For example, a person might be born appearing to be female on the outside, but
having mostly male-typical anatomy on the inside. Or a person may be born with genitals that seem to be in-between the usual male
and female types—for example, a girl may be born with a noticeably large clitoris, or lacking a vaginal opening, or a boy may be born
with a notably small penis, or with a scrotum that is divided so that it has formed more like labia. Or a person may be born with mosaic
genetics, so that some of her cells have XX chromosomes and some of them have XY." --Pageanthology 101
