Fashai's chance of winning @Miss Universe after Sireethorn's win at MI?

Postby ajsy0203 » Tue Nov 12, 2019 9:10 am

After Sireethorn Leearamwat's win at Miss International 2019, do you think Paweensuda "Fashai" Drouin has a bigger chance of getting their 3rd win at Miss Universe for Thailand? If Fashai will win on December 8, it will be the first time since 1968 that Miss Universe and Miss International winners were from the same country.

Fashai actually is a mega favorite to win the coveted title of Miss Universe. I have no doubt she'll place high or even win this year's Miss Universe pageant.

Seriously it has nothing to do with Fahsai. They are competing different pageant. Different girl, different performance, different fate! But one thing for sure, that would give Fahsai a major pressure thinking that her country already won one major crown this year (yey! cheers to that! <:-P <:-P )
Big pressure for her because I think she is the next girl competing, and people in Thailand will look up on her that high expecting for a second victory crown for their country this year. Actually there is always a pros and cons.. Pros, MI win of Thailand this year might give Fahsai a confidence while Thailand is now popular in pageant world because of the recent win of MI.. cons very pressured at the same time for Fahsai. But at the end, still depends with Fahsai on how she will handle the pressure.

Btw Congratulations to Thailand for winning Miss International 2019! <:-P <:-P

Miss Universe 2022 is like a rollercoaster ride.

Could be confidence booster for Fashai to win the upcoming Miss Universe pageant or
could be bigger pressure for her because her fellow compatriot Sireethorn won MI but the reception and expectation towards Sireethorn was different prior to MI pageant unlike her win at Miss Universe Thailand?

Exactly! Sireethorn was a darkhorse. Not even on a radar during the pre-arrival. And I think that (if ever) she didn't win MI earlier, she has nothing to lose, because people aren't expecting for her to win. Different story for a candidate who is a long time "wish list" candidate to represent your country at Miss Universe, and eventually competing Miss Universe, the pressure is very high.... higher than the Mt. Everest :%)) and that's exactly what I felt to Catriona last year. I totally feel her pressure from the bottom of my heart (especially after her MW stints) that feeling that it should be a crown or nothing lol. because if Cat would end up as a RU placement again at Miss Universe like in MW, I know that people will bully her again telling stuffs like same fate at MW blah blah.

Anyway, I wish Fahsai all the best! I know she is doing all her homework, we'll see in December if the stars are align for her :-*

Miss Universe 2022 is like a rollercoaster ride.

Fahsai and Gazini for me. If Patch is competing in other pageants with that QandA, she would have won.
