Well North Dakota may be the most polarizing contestant this year. She's a Catholic pro-life activist who thinks that abortion is anti-woman. Regardless of your own personal opinions on the issue I don't think this is something IMG would get behind.

Wyoming is sooo pretty but I feel like she will clap because she is too pretty (this is IMG we are talking about) The rest either don't stand out for me as much or are definite clappers.

Former Miss Pennsylvania Teen USA Sydney Jane Robertson is competing! She was 2nd ru in Miss Teen USA 2014 and I loved her short hair.

Returning runners-up from 2019 include Christina Thompson (2RU) and Erika Turner (3RU). 1RU Laura Little was unable to compete again as she inherited the title when Cheslie Kryst won Miss USA. Other 2019 returnees include Madeline Delp (T16), Kelly Glendenning (T10, 3RU 2018), Sarah Roof (T10), Phoenicia Butler (T16), and Sydney Long (T16, former South Carolina competitor). Some notable contestants include Jane Axhoj (Miss North Carolina Teen USA 2015 and 2RU at Miss Teen USA) and Victoria Vesce (1RU 2017, 4RU 2018). Some other contestants are former semifinalists or competitors in North Carolina Teen. Personally, I think this is a very open contest with no real frontrunner. I would've said Victoria Vesce would be the easy winner, but placing as 4RU right after a 1RU placement is not good, and then she wasn't even a finalist when she moved to South Carolina in 2019. Jane Axhoj could be someone to look out for, but there are also a number of notable newcomers who could take it.

Surprisingly former Miss MS Teen USA Lauren Rymer didn't make the cut. Asya totally flew under the radar for me when I first checked the contestants. She was crowned Miss Mississippi 2018 (unplaced at Miss America) and definitely could win the title tonight.
