This is simply the first list, which I've carefully and thoughtfully compiled after much research.
I will frequently update this list as more and more contestants are crowned or current contestants transform. It should be interesting to see.

At this stage, all of the women are beautiful but I always look for the contestants who exemplify an authentic beauty rather than a rehearsed or forced beauty. I feel like that's what Demi and Iris did so well.
We know that most of the contestants will be trained and try to manufacture that kind of authenticity and will probably go far but what I like about the IMG judges is they have the ability to weed out the fakers.
I feel like Vietnam exemplifies that authentic beauty, from head to toe, and she will stand out on that big stage on finals night, in the way Demi and Iris did. There are other factors of course such as host city, sex appeal, global appeal, etc.

How does one judge authenticity? Does MUO/IMG criteria apply in this regard?

I think you can tell when they perform on stage. Iris is the perfect example of that authenticity. The way she effortlessly carried herself on stage to the way she answered her Q&A with real life experiences and not politically rehearsed. Her final look performance is one of the most beautiful and natural I’ve ever seen. Haiti & Colombia were not in her league at all. They looked stiff, nervous, and rehearsed. Iris wasn’t even the most facially beautiful that night, but her authenticity makes you fall in love with her. I can see why OP has Vietnam as his number 1. Like Iris, Vietnam is not the most facially beautiful, but she has the stage presence and authenticity to showcase. As much as I love Cat, I’ve always maintained that she has a bit of issue with authenticity. Perhaps she is authentic, but she doesn’t convey that very well and it tends to come across as rehearsed. To me, she calculates every move too perfectly. I wish she’d losen up a bit. I feel like that may have been the reason why she lost the Miss World crown.
