What would it be like in the Trump era?
What I think would've happened
Winner - Monika Radulovic (Australia)
1st Runner Up - Ariadna Gutierrez (Colombia)
2nd Runner Up - Olivia Jordan (USA)
3rd Runner Up - Clarissa Molina (Dominican Republic)
4th Runner Up - Pia Wurtzbach (Philippines)
In my eyes, Philippines was the clear winner after the Top 10 was announced and looked great but I don't know if she would have won under Trump and would've been Shamcey 2.0. as he loved Latinas and Europeans to death. I think he would've loved Colombia and lobbied for her BUT I don't think he'd allow another back to back. I think more Europeans would have been in the Top 15 like Megi Luka (Albania), Vladislava Evtushenko (Russia), Mirjeta Shala (Kosovo) and Weronika Szmajdzinska (Poland) instead of girls like Curacao, Japan, Mexico (because of his statements at the time against Mexicans), South Africa and maybe even Thailand and Indonesia. I also think we would have seen girls like Peru make it as well. In the end, I think given the circumstances of what he said, a neutral country like Australia (Monika Radulovic) who was away from all his political drama would have won.
2016
Actual Results:
Winner - Iris Mittenaere (France)
1st Runner Up - Raquel Pelissier (Haiti)
2nd Runner Up - Andrea Tovar (Colombia)
Top 6 - Mary Esther Were (Kenya), Maxine Medina (Philippines), Chalita Suansane (Thailand)
Top 9 - Siera Bearchell (Canada), Kristal Silva (Mexico), Deshauna Barber (USA)
Top 13 - Raissa Santana (Brazil), Kezia Warouw (Indonesia), Keity Drennan (Panama), Valeria Piazza (Peru)
What I think would've happened:
Winner - Maxine Medina (Philippines)
1st Runner Up - Mariam Habach (Venezuela)
2nd Runner Up - Keity Drennan (Panama)
3rd Runner Up - Kristal Silva (Mexico)
4th Runner Up - Andrea Tovar (Colombia)
This year, I believe the results would have been completely different. I think Iris would have stopped at Top 10 under Trump, Haiti wouldn't have placed and Andrea would've made Top 5 but not win. Kenya would not have placed and I don't think Thailand would've either. I think under the Trump era, Maxine would've probably been Philippines 3rd Miss Universe instead of Pia as she was just out of this world gorgeous and communication didn't matter as much. Canada would not have placed and USA would not have sent Deshauna. I do think Mexico and Panama would've placed higher under Trump and Brazil wouldn't place. I think he would've made it a Top 15 format like usual and included more Europeans like Albania, Kosovo and Ukraine and also would've definitely included girls like Australia, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and Venezuela.
2017
Actual Results:
Winner - Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters (South Africa)
1st Runner Up - Laura Gonzalez (Colombia)
2nd Runner Up - Davina Bennett (Jamaica)
Top 5 - Keysi Sayago (Venezuela), Maria Poonlertlarp (Thailand)

Top 16 - Roxette Qiu (China), Shanaelle Petty (Croatia), Ruth Quashie (Ghana), Anna Burdzy (Great Britain), Cailin Aine Ni Toibin (Ireland), Christina Peiris (Sri Lanka)
What I think would've happened:
Winner - Laura Gonzalez (Colombia)
1st Runner Up - Keysi Sayago (Venezuela)
2nd Runner Up - Rachel Peters (Philippines)
3rd Runner Up - Kseniya Alexandrova (Russia)
4th Runner Up - Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters (South Africa)
This is another year that I think the results would have been very different. Demi-Leigh was unbeatable that night for me so she MAY have still won but I think Trump would've preferred to crown a Latina this year. The whole continental thing would've never been in place and all of Europe who made it except maybe Spain would've clapped. I don't think: Jamaica Thailand, Brazil, Canada, Ghana, China, Ghana and Sri Lanka would've placed so the Top 16 would've been veeeeerrrrry different as I already think 11 of them would've clapped. Again I don't think Kara would've won Miss USA under Trump either. Europe was overall very weak this year and I think only Russia would've advanced and he would've loved her and maybe she would've been the next Vera Krasova. I think Venezuela and Philippines would again have ended up higher than they did and girls like Peru, Mexico, France and maybe even Puerto Rico.
Which set of winners do you like better? Personally, I'm glad with how things turned out. Trump was losing his touch in my opinion and MUO needed a revamp and I LOVE all three winners they chose for Miss Universe. I haven't been too crazy about their Miss USA's but their main titleholders (Miss Universes) have been excellent and all the strongest the night they won. I think none of the girls who I think would've won under Trump (except maybe Maxine only because she's Filipino and would've had so many fans) would've been as memorable as the girls who did win.
So how do you guys think the results would have been different in the past years if Trump was still the owner?
COMING SOON: How things would've ended differently if IMG took over the franchise earlier.
