I think you should look up what really happened that day and why Kristi acted like that during her interview. If she couldn't handle cameras or interviews she wouldn't have won in the first place.
In my humble opinion, Miss Universe contestants are expected to keep themselves composed at any circumstances, that is why not just a pretty face can win. Do you think Olivia should've lost her temper during her interview with the Russian Journalist?

I understand that her media pressure happened years ago and I hope she can now handle herself with more care, then I will support her justly because she is indeed a gorgeous girl.I can understand how that interview was uncomfortable for Olivia, but it is not comparable to what Kristhielee had to go through. I mean, her situation was drastically different. She literally had to leave her boyfriend bleeding heavily at a hospital to go running to host an event and do an interview that was not schedule with a journalist who is known for always trying to ridicule beauty queens. Kristhielee even had traces of blood in her dress when she was being interviewed and she broke down because her mind and soul were in the hospital with her boyfriend. I think anyone in her situation would have ruin an interview like that too, and she tried to get help from Desirée but she didn't come to her aid. I mean, you would have to be a soulless person in order to function well in an interview when your partner is in a critical health state and you don't know what's going to happen to him. And on top of that you have a journalist mocking you in an interview that was not even schedule and that would later ridicule in an article quoting things you didn't say and taking things out of proportions.
She could have simply said, "My apologies. I'm not in good enough shape to be interviewed right now. Could we do this at another time? I promise I'll give you the proper attention at our next meeting."
Short. Simple. No drama. No nasty behavior. There was NO excuse for behaving badly. What she did was simply NOT anything any public personality was and is expected to do.
That would've worked with any other reporter but this particular reporter has it out for Desiree and her girls. She's one of the meanest and nastiest reporter. The reporter would've said something rude to Kristi and maybe the situation would've been worse. I think Desiree should be stepped in. Like we saw in the leaked video with Desiree saying "Kristi what's going on I've never seen you like this." As a ND it was her responsibility and take control of the situation and end the interview. Instead Desiree choose to look and watch and even laugh at what was going on.
Glad for Puerto Rico that Desiree is out. Yes, she should have been looking out for her girls!
The Kristi thing was her own making, though. Your behavior shouldn’t be determined by the asshole who’s in front of you. Stooping down to the reporter’s level and making an asshole of herself created so much unnecessary drama that backfired on her. I hope she has learned her lesson.

Yeah that's one rumor we were talking about before.. he will allegedly be Brazil's new ND and will act as an advisor to Puerto Rico and other franchises. Who knows.... our team is not complete yet; but if Denise and Carlos Alberto do get confirmed this Tuesday, then I'm thinking Denise will bring Clark Ivor for H&M and Carlos Alberto will probably bring Grace Fontecha to the table, and with Grace in the mix (and the new owners of WAPA) maybe Osmel is a possibility. But I'm just speculating.... it would be an amazing team!

Osmel worked for Univision while Maynulet was Senior Vice President so it can totally happen. Or as Levy mentioned, working as an advisor. Which also makes sense since Osmel already knows Denisse. Clark is a HUGE upgrade from Junior Melendez.

We will probably see a pageant veteran being crowned.... it's going to be the battle of the recycled candidates! They actually asked those interested to come prepared. I guess next year will be the real deal...
