Are you kidding me?! Barraza as The Philippines' lucky charm . . . really?! Did the TS forget about the dark ages of Philippines' non-placement at Miss Universe?! Who made the gowns of your candidates back then, huh? Wasn't it Barraza? Out of the gowns he designed and made for the Philippine candidates at Miss Universe in a span of 15 years (from 2000-2014), only 5 of them got to the semifinal slots, i.e., from Venus to MJ. Now, you call him as "the lucky charm of the Philippines"?! =O/

Please let Charmaine Elima rest FOREVER, she's been there and done that and nothing happened. She is NOT destined to conquer the Universe, the World, the Earth of any International scene. Just let her continue to soar high with Philippine Airlines hehehehe =D> =D> =D>

Crown those Bb Pilipinas Universe candidates who care and really work hard to win.

Be careful with the halfies and non-native Filipinas like Rachel bec they can talk but I find them very complacent. They like the limelight but no real passion to compete and win for the country, the Philippines.

Crown those the likes of Venus, Pia, Ara, etc. who really care to compete, fight, and win.
Lots of halfies (half-breds) can talk but no determination to fight and win crowns.

I agree. We need someone with a fighting spirit i.e. Pia, Janine, Teresita. And off course, please do not forget personality and wit :)

Eh bakla nga di ba nag tuturo sa gerlalu? so what are you waiting for??? :%)) :%)) :%))

Cguro dahil artista sia at naka tulong yon.

NAPASIN, NAGMARKA, NANALO! =c3 =c3 =c3

:hx :hx :hx

Hindi na uso ang glamazon sa beauty contest, in ngayon the one can deliver kahit di katangkaran, look at Win Win at Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters.

"While the rest of the world is obsessed with sending a Miss Universe delegate who stands at a minimum of 5'8″ tall, the United States sent Olivia Culpo in 2012. She stands at a proud five foot, five inches tall and won the Miss Universe crown.Nov 16, 2013"

So yan ang hanapin nio. Tapos ang laban! =;)) =;))

Finally someone said it. They should crown a girl who's actually from the Philippines as in born, raised and still resides there. It looks bad when the whole country rallies behind a girl and she's barely even lived there 3 years. Its just not the same!

Not funny. If Pia thought that way we would have been poorer by 1 Miss Universe Crown.

It doesn't matter. We are called "Filipinos" because we are very diversed. Mixed nationalities and mixed culture so what is the point? Also if you were talking about Rachel she is so Filipino in many ways. Does she consider herself British? Go find the interview wherein she was asked about that, she mentioned she never considered herself British. Do you get the point now?

Why so touchy? ;;)
I was more so talking about the gal from Australia. By the way, I feel it should be the same for every country not just PH.

We are not talking about how to define Filipinos. They are diversed.
We are talking about candidates who have the real heart of a Filipino, who will fight for the country.
Rachel just gained her Filipino citizenship three years ago. Acculturation takes more years than that.
I also believe that our reps should use the knowledge, expertise and experience of Madam Stella in competing as well, no matter how small they are but valuable. She has seen it all, including Pia’s winning.

Not funny. If Pia thought that way we would have been poorer by 1 Miss Universe Crown.

Dapat si Charmaine ang naging pambato natin sa Miss Supranational 2017. Tyak na sya sana ang 2nd Pinay na mag uuwi ng crown.
Majority of pageant critics firing scathingly remarks and unleashing vilest of comments to some candidates, ironically, are not even beautiful themselves aesthetically and worst characterwise.
