VENEZUELA, GREECE AND PUERTO RICO WON'T HOST; IT IS NOT A MATTER OF IF THEY SHOULD BUT A MATTER OF THEY CANNOT HOST A PAGEANT with the economy crisis those three places are going through. Venezuela is going through an economic, political and humanitarian crisis in which their citizens can barely eat. Greece is absolutely broke to the point that no so long ago people had limits on their atm machines. My island is going through a literal pissing contest between the governor and the Fiscal Board in which the last is that public employees have been cut 2 days of a month of work because they wanna squeeze us dry.
PHILIPPINES ALREADY DECLINED. Some say because of economy, other because of security, and some other bunch because of scheduling conflicts; it's irrelevant to find a reason and fight about because whats done its done. NOW, if the economy in the Philippines is not in their best they should stay away from hosting anything its obvious and If the security is an issue you all to remember that even if its one place that's been under attack many countries wont want to risk sending their delegates. Maybe everyone should wait till things call down
TRUMP wasn't that great at the end either with the who venue thing, the pageant have been declining since before he left thanks to his rhetoric 2011 wasn't that great of a pageant either. The organization keeps moving forward with the same issues.
The BIGGEST problem the Miss Universe pageant has is the production director, compare prelims and the actual pageant and you will see a world's difference on camera work and even the presentation of girls. They need to figure it out rush.
AND YES, THE GROUP CATWALK FORMAT IS EMBARRASING. Just as ridiculous as Miss USA 2011 with their reality show elimination bullshit
