With the IMG system influencing the power of a candidate's inclusion for top 13, her being the 3rd Afro-Venezuelan woman and an engineer will help her ease her way through. However, she needs to grind even more if she wants to penetrate the top 9 or even top 3!

If they are then why did these girls placed during the "image era":
Venezuela top 10 in 2015 (Various facial surgeries)
Colombia 2nd runner up 2016/7 (Tovar had a nose job)
These are just 2 of the girls who had plastic surgery and it very possible that there were more who had nose jobs or boob jobs or a little surgical touch up but simply wasn't brought to light.
THE TRUTH IS THAT VENEZUELA IS THE ONLY COUNTRY OPEN TO TALK ABOUT THEIR PLASTIC SURGERY BECAUSE THERE ARE OTHER COUNTRIES WHOSE DELEGATES HAVE BEEN OPERATED TOO.
And do you really think that if they are allowing transgender women to compete, they would care if a natural woman had plastic surgery or not. Let's get real.
A woman with surgery is no different to that who is "natural" because at the end of the day, the most beautiful face hardly ever wins a pageant. Eventually it's really what's on the inside that counts. Surgery or not all should be judged equally.
Amazing how Venezuela didn't place (most likely because of her interview or attitude) and people come to the conclusion that IMG is no longer allowing Venezuela to place and amazing how people bash Venezuelan queen but always use them as a reference to describe beautiful delegates in other pageants -"SHE LOOKS LIKE A MISS VENEZUELA CONTESTANT."
KEYSI IS AN AMAZING DELEGATE FOR VENEZUELA. MY FAVORITE MISS VENEZUELA SINCE GABRIELA ISLER. SHE IS VERY HUMBLE, CAME FROM A HUMBLE BACKGROUND AND MOST IMPORTANTLY A STRONG CONTENDER.
For me the fact that she came from a humble family doesn't matter because I don't get the whole idea of telling a story when Iris and Pia didn't really have horrible life experiences as other delegates and still won. I think that this is just a conclusion made by us the pageant fans. I THINK THAT IT IS 2 EARLY TO JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS SINCE IMG ONLY DID MISS UNIVERSE FOR 2 YEARS THUS FAR

She can say she's the mayor of EL TOCUYO VENEZUELA.
