DO NOT GO TO BANGKOK! WAY TOO EXTREMELY DANGEROUS! MS GRAND INTERNATIONAL IS DANGEROUS! BOMBING IS EVERYWHERE!

TRAVEL WARNING AS OF SEPTEMBER 13, 2015

THE FOREIGN MINISTRY SAID 12 COUNTRIES ISSUED "LEVEL 2" ADVISORIES, URGING CITIZENS TO TAKE EXTRA CARE DURING TRIPS TO THE KINGDOM:

AUSTRIA,
BELGIUM,
DENMARK,
FRANCE,
JAPAN,
MALAYSIA,
SINGAPORE,
SOUTH KOREA,
SWEDEN,
SWITZERLAND,
TAIWAN

AND THE

UNITED STATES.

NINE NATIONS, HOWEVER, RECOMMENDED A HIGHER DEGREE OF CAUTION, OR LEVEL 3, WARNINGS. THEY ARE

AUSTRALIA,
CANADA,
CHINA,
GERMANY,
ITALY,
IRELAND,
NEW ZEALAND,
RUSSIA

AND THE UNITED KINGDOM.

Only Hong Kong advised its people to avoid non-essential travel to Thailand, a Level 4 warning. The "red alert" was Hong Kong's second strongest tier of travel advisory in its three-tier system.

POSTED: 11 Sep 2015 14:25 UPDATED: 11 Sep 2015 22:30

The suspected mastermind of last month's deadly bomb attack in Thailand left Bangladesh 12 days ago, and efforts in Malaysia to track the man suspected of planting the explosives have been unsuccessful, Thai police said on Friday.

[b]Thailand tourism loses THB64 billion in revenue after bombing

By CNN Asia
POSTED: 12 Sep 2015 14:25 UPDATED: 12 Sep 2015 22:30

The Bangkok bombing will approximately cost THB64 billion in lost tourism revenue after 1.33 million people cancelled their trips, the Tourism and Sports Ministry said yesterday.

The loss is a stark contrast to the junta’s statements claiming the tourism industry will not be affected by the bombing. The Tourism and Sports Ministry also reported that 35 countries delivered travel warnings to their citizens about trips to Thailand.

A MORE AND MORE countries, such as Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Slovakia, issued level 4 travel alerts advising people not to visit Thailand unless it was totally necessary. However, most countries only issued level 1-3 alerts advising their citizens to take adequate safety measures when visiting Thailand.

The ministry believes tourism should recover in the fourth quarter of 2015

Meanwhile, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) disclosed that half of the air-ticket reservations and tour packages to Thailand from Singapore, Japan, China, South Korea, Hong Kong, and Vietnam were cancelled in August and September.

The TAT sees these as medium-level losses and described the situation as “under control.” However, it is unlikely that tourism revenue will reach its target of THB800 billion due to the country’s economic problems, not the bombing.

The TAT added that fewer Thais have visited Erawan Shrine and the surrounding area since the blast.

The TAT will initiate new advertisements, campaigns, and festivals to attract more visitors, the Bangkok Post reported.

The blast at Erawan Shrine on Aug 17 killed 20 people and injured more than 100, mostly Asian tourists AND ONE BRITISH national.

Announcement from Miss Gwand International regarding safety in Thailand

The Miss Gwand International Organization wants to assure all contestants, directors and families that the situation in Thailand is safe right now and welcomes everybody to travel for the competition.

During the past days, one person -using several handles- has been trying to disrupt our competition by posting numerous threads in online forums about “Terror threats” and that Thailand is not safe.

This person, who goes by the handle “Janpierre” is known for doing “cyber-terrorism” and defamation, attacking beauty competitions based on rumors, lies and inventions created by his own distorted mind.

The individual is question has posted – for months – threads about several beauty competitions trying to bring down their prestige by making up stories about its organizers. Using several handles, he has been contacting contestants directly trying to convince them not to travel, so he can ruin our plans.

The biggest news outlets in the world have reported on the capture of the individual who was responsible for the bombing in Bangkok last month.
