I really like Julia Gama but I have to admit that I prefer her much much more when she competed at MW. She looks way more natural back then while now she keeps giving me this drag-queen-ish vibe. But I think she still possesses all the goods to go far in Miss Universe under IMG. Hopefully, Brazil will be back in Top3 again after 10 years.
Another sentimental favorite for me is Chile. This woman has Miss Universe aura written over her. The only downfall, imo, is probably her age and she doesn't wear a more powerful sash. Chile has sent some really beautiful women in the past decade (my favorites were Ana Luisa and of course, last year's Geraldine). I will pray for at least a placement for Chile with Daniela but I am sure if she enters Top16/20, and she will surely go to the next round.
Amanda from Thailand is so out for me, and I hate to say this, but I think Thailand's streak is likely to end with her. She is a gorgeous lady and I liked her so much when she competed at MUT, but I'm tired of seeing just glamshots on her social media showcasing fancy wardrobes without doing anything relevant for the time being. Miss Universe is no longer about being stylish, right? Let alone her impromptu interview skills... I believe India, Philippines, and maybe Cambodia will be the pearls to shine at this edition.
Just my personal opinion.
And btw, I don't think we will ever have a "Miss Universe 2020", will we?
