DOPE wrote:simply post all yours pics in the replies, put a pic of yours in your avatar and tell us a bit about yourself
you know what, i've been stuck on the laptop for a good hour thinking on what to write and what to tell you about myself. i thought of telling you about my weight loss and then i started to type how i transitioned from patay na daga to phyllis to sephora chanel to dope. im like, damn, i cant finish what i want to tell you and i got stuck.
we all have insecurities since we're only human and no matter how hard we try to deny it, it shows and i admit, i am trying to present you myself the best way possible so i can impress you. i really can not offer you guys anything but rather a proof that anything is possible when you put your heart and soul into it.
i had my struggles, failures and rejections but that didnt stop me from getting to where i am at. i dreamt of being in a pageant once, i thought that dream was gone since i was a hopeless case but right now im competing in a some sorta type of pageant... its funny that fate got me to live this chance. i should be enjoying it but here i am comparing myself to them and letting these insecurities ruin this experience.
i know this is ghetto and kind of lame, but hey, this is something that will make me laugh when im 60 or older. hashtag milestone
this is me - positive, simple and always happy. a lil jaded and broken at times but im still functional. always high, all the time and just bein real.

I appreciate all of your admiration to my perseverance. Everyone passes through hardships in life, it only varies since were faced in different scenarios. It is the cycle of living that you strive to be the best, and the nature to always creed to be triumphant. I have numerous insecurities, made wrong decisions and experienced to be the worst person that I could not even dare to imagine. All that and more I was able to accept. It always starts with embracing yourself, because your flaws and advantages will always set you apart from others.
I have great competitors in this pageant, but the support I get to a few forumers who have that solid faith in me fires up my engine to be competitive. I always wanted to be a singer, a model or even an actor. It's only that life gives you the reality that can be a serious eye opener in setting your goals to be realistic and practical. Way more things have to be prioritised compromising your own dreams to that of the people who gives you every reason to be happy- My family. In a way or another I know i will live up all my dreams in it's perfect time. Giving up is not an option as my patience have been tested since birth.
I will always appreciate all your kind messages and comments to those who sees me as a winner and also to those who think the other way around. Good job to all who joined this contest, we share the same sentiments, the dream of getting the title, and the burning passion that will always be our light in life. 1: EXPRESS YOUR FEELINGS FOR MISSOSOLOGY
2: HOW CAN YOU UTILIZE YOUR ACHIEVEMENTS
3: WHAT YOUR ADVICE TO OUR NEW GENERATION
1. I have always been into arts. My mum has indulged me into drawing and painting even before I went to kindergarten. It's because of sketching that I got to learn about this site, missosology. Few years ago, I used to work at an English tutorial center for international students when I met this very kind colleague who was a pageant enthusiast. One time I thought of drawing her well admired beauty queen, It was Bianca Manalo. I searched her pics online and then I stumbled in a thread here in missosology. I guess some of you must have encountered this before, that when you're not a member, there are certain threads that you cannot view, i then signed up and from there I get to enjoy this site, seeing not only people who loves the pageant world, but people who are genuine sharing wonderful and interesting thoughts about life in a handful of topics. I must admit that it is beyond fun when you encounter people from all walks of life in a social networking site that is bound to be in limitless discussions and some arguments that can be really interesting. We exist in a diverse environment and it is only with respect that we can function and socialise well. And all that i found here in missosology. Well, that's me, I am well aware that people vary in their perceptions so I would respect whoever is in contrast. /b]
[b]2. I have never belittled or looked up to people based on their achievements. I guess it is one of the values that was inculcated in me that is non negotiable. In my understanding, an achievement is something that you have acquired thru your own efforts. There are no standards or yardsticks to label every achievement in the real school of life. You can be good in school, have a stable job, or even have acknowledgements and become popular but at the end of the day, it's how you see yourself that would count to your contentment. What I have in my life today, be it in my career or personal life, I deserve it because I have worked for it. I made decisions and chose to be who and what I am today. I just live life in a way that I know is good. Whatever I have in bag, I always try to be the better person to understand every situation that I am faced. Values that I have is something I don't risk to be compromised- and that is an achievement.
3. Seeing the new generation of today gives a feeling of amusement to me. It is with adulthood that makes you wonder how time flies and seeing the younger generation makes you feel that there is always a fresh start. A sense of hope for every new beginning, to start over, make new experiences, become happy and feel that feeling of excitement to new things. Isn't it what you feel when you were younger? Im not that old but I guess I am talking with wisdom because of life's numerous experiences. If there's one thing I could tell them? Always choose to be happy and everything will follow. I have this principle that happiness is a state you get to be at when you do good, and good means being kind, able to love, share and learn from every shortcoming. When you are young, you need to experience as much as you could but always put limits and you should know how to define such limits.
I LIVE BY THESE THREE PRINCIPLES:
1. TO BE HAPPY, CHOOSE TO BE HEALTHY (vice-versa).
2. GRAVITATE YOURSELF TOWARDS THE DIRECTION OF YOUR DOMINANT THOUGHTS.
3. IT IS IN FAITH THAT MAKES YOU VICTORIOUS.
KEEP IT COOL!
