Na Li of China has already won in a Big 5 before...so it should be China and Japan. Not only Japan.

She is half Haitian, half Japanese. She and her sister used their mother's maiden last name. Some reports say it was to "protect" them and just to make life smoother as mixed race Japanese children. Miss Universe Japan 2015 Ariana Miyamoto could prove that there is discrimination for mixed race kids in japan. I do not know if that is the main reason but their family immigrated to the united states when she was young and her parents are together. The dad gets nervous watching her play live so he doesn't watch. I also saw some reports that her dad met her mom when he was an English teacher in Japan. they fell in love and got married and out came naomi and her sister.
Naomi Osaka idolizes serena williams and it was her dream to play her in a major final. The dream came true, and she went further by winning against her! She is fierce as a competitor on court but off court she is a shy timid but humble girl. i believe she's gonna be a major player in the future of women's tennis.
