On its recent rankinbg of international pageants, The pageant portal The Pageant Planet, one the most trusted and visited pageant related sites, ranked Miss Earth as 2017' second best.
Ranking second only to the perennial winner Miss Universe, the green pageant displaced Miss World which slid to third spot.
Noticeably missing on the list was last year's top four placer Miss International. A shocker really, considering that the pageant never missed being in the top 5 in TPP's rankings in previous years. On its place was Miss Gwand International whose ranking vastly improved from being unplaced on 2016 to a fourth place finish this year.
